Each session is custom tailored to your needs. While the standard time allotted is 1 hour, the need may arise to go a few minutes over at no extra charge. A longer, 90 to 120 minute, session can be requested in advance.
While certain areas may incur more discomfort than others, it is my utmost goal not to cause anymore discomfort than is absolutely necessary. By maintaining constant communication during a therapeutic massage, I will ensure that it stays as relaxing as possible while getting the results you need.
While more traditional cupping techniques do tend to cause bruising, I employ gliding cupping not static. This technique is able to help release the fascia surrounding the muscles to help move toxins, increase blood flow to the affected area, and reduce tension and stress. Rarely do my clients ever bruise.
For a general overall well-being I would suggest once a month. If you are in a high stress environment twice a month. If you are recovering from an injury or have an extremely demanding physical job once a week and possibly more as needed.
